The BCTSA provides support to select athletes that have demonstrated a high potential and the drive to train and compete at the national or international level. The SCATT System Loan Program provides the use of a SCATT trainer system free of charge to selected athletes.
The BCTSA will loan a SCATT training system to the athlete for a pre-determined period of time as set out by the Provincial Coach. During this time the athlete MUST submit weekly SCATT files to the provincial coach to ensure the coach is kept up to date on the athlete’s regular practices. These data files will be used to assess, maintain and refine the athlete’s performance and will be integrated into the athlete’s training plan.
The athlete must agree to the BCTSA loan agreement criteria before a SCATT is made available. If the athlete is not of legal age then a parent or legal guardian must sign the agreement. After the agreement is returned to the BCTSA a SCATT will be shipped to the athlete.
The SCATT package will be accompanied by an equipment list that includes a description of all items in the package as well as an assessed value of each.
ATHLETES MUST RETURN THE SYSTEM IN WORKING ORDER AND WILL BE RESPOSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY MISSING OR BROKEN PARTS.
To apply for the loan of a system complete the application and forward it to your Provincial Coach.*
*Due to limited availability of systems athletes are not guaranteed to be approved for a System loan. The BCTSA reserves the right to limit the loan of systems, determine athlete priority and recall the systems at any time.
