- A BC Jr Junior Development Team (BCDT) which will be formed each year to provide support for, and to incentivise, young athletes. The development team members will provide athletes to participate in, or replace vacancies for;
- A BC Jr Junior Team (BCJT)which will be formed each year to provide support for, and to incentivise, young athletes. The team will provide coaching and competition opportunities for these athletes as they strive to reach National and International levels of proficiency.
Team BC athletes work with the provincial small-bore coach to create their annual plan; attend camps to learn new techniques, and refine their skills. Athletes are expected to train about 8 hours per week; this includes their physical training, time at the range conducting live fire and any mental or dry firing exercises they perform. Most athletes will have a local level coach and the program should complement that relationship rather than replace it.
