EVENT DETAILS:

General Information

Venue & Facilities

The competition will be held at the Richmond Rod and Gun Club, located at: 7400 River Rd Suite 140, Richmond BC, Canada

  • Equipped with 16 SIUS Electronic Targets
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • free parking available on site

Match Start Times

  • The start times listed on the schedule refer to the time of the first SCORING shot, per ISSF Rule 6.11.1.1
  • Preparation and Sighting Time begin 15 minutes prior to the published start time

Rules

  • Current Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC) and International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) rules will apply
  • It is the responsibility of all participants to be familiar with these rules
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the schedule or procedures based on conditions

Eligibility

  • Valid BCTSA membership or membership in your respective provincial or state shooting organization is required
  • Out-of-province athletes are welcome and may participate

Equipment Control

  • All equipment must comply with current ISSF specifications
  • Equipment will be inspected during designated control periods and may be re-checked during competition

Note: Equipment check MUST be conducted on Friday, November 7 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm

Protests & Scoring Challenges

  • Scoring challenge fee: $5.00
  • Protests will be handled by the Jury. The Jury’s decisions are final

Events & Courses of Fire

All events take place at 10 meters (standing position unless noted):

  • Air Rifle – Men / Junior Men: 2 × 60 shots
  • Air Rifle – Women / Junior Women: 2 × 60 shots
  • Air Pistol – Men / Junior Men: 2 × 60 shots
  • Air Pistol – Women / Junior Women: 2 × 60 shots

Awards

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Junior Awards
  • Classification Awards (MA, VT, EX, SS, MM, LADY)

Note: Awards will be presented after the final relay has been completed

Classifications & Categories

  • All athletes must register according to their official SFC classification
  • Proof of classification must be presented at check-in
  • NRA/USA Shooting classifications are not accepted
  • Shooters without a current classification will compete as Expert (EX)
  • Falsifying classification may result in disqualification without refund

Age Categories

  • Sub Junior (SJ): Until December 31 of the year they turn 16
  • Junior (JR): From January 1 of the year following their 16th birthday, until December 31 of the year they turn 21
  • Veteran (VT): Must be 55 or older on the first day of competition
    • Veterans may use older equipment (if no longer active competitors), but scopes are not allowed

Abbreviations

  • MA = Master
  • EX = Expert
  • SS = Sharpshooter
  • MM = Marksman
  • SJ = Sub Junior
  • JR = Junior
  • VT = Veteran

Fees

  • ISSF Events (Air Pistol / Air Rifle): $100.00 Canadian

Match Schedule

Friday, November 7

  • 5:00pm to 8:00pm - Registration, Equipment Control, and Practice (upon range readiness)

Saturday, November 8

  • Relay A – 8:30am to 9:45am
  • Relay B – 11:00am to 12:15pm
  • Relay C – 2:00pm to 3:15pm
  • Relay D – 4:30pm to 5:45pm

Sunday, November 9

  • Relay A – 8:30am to 9:45am
  • Relay B – 11:00am to 12:15pm
  • Relay C – 2:00pm to 3:15pm
  • Relay D – 4:30pm to 5:45pm
  • Tear down immediately after the Awards
    • You or your representative must be present to receive awards

Code of Conduct & Safety Rules

All participants, coaches, and spectators must follow the competition code of conduct and range safety protocols.

General Behavior

  • Show respect to range staff, officials, volunteers, and fellow competitors
  • Disruptive or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated

Range Safety

  • All air guns must be unloaded and open when not on the firing line
  • Only handle firearms at designated locations or under RO instruction
  • No dry firing or aiming outside of your firing point
  • Always point firearms downrange
  • Shooters must not leave the firing point with a pressurized or loaded gun

Waiver & Consent

By signing and paying the entry fee, I authorize the Richmond Rod and Gun Club and its affiliates to:

  • Collect and use my personal information for match operations
  • Publish participant lists, scores, and photographs in media and newsletters
  • Use my date of birth to determine competition category
  • I waive the right to inspect or approve final materials
  • Understand that there is always a risk in injury and that Richmond Rod and Gun Club is not liable
