This 12-hour course trains the basics of shooting sport athlete coaching. The course is recognized by the Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC), the Coaching Association of Canada and is taught by senior coaches with the BC Target Sports Association (BCTSA). Topics include general principles of coaching, safety, coaching and learning styles, athlete program development and discipline-specific shooting techniques. Many of the coaching principles also apply to non-Olympic style shooting disciplines.

This course is available to all 16 years of age and older.  We encourage those from a wide range of shooting disciplines (and ages) to consider the course.  A Firearms Possession Acquisition License (PAL) is not required.  Membership in the BCTSA or PGRGC is not required (but strongly recommended).

Covid Protocols Will be in Effect: Proof of double vaccination is required. Please bring a mask or other face covering. Two meter distancing will be in place.
